Cytonn Investments is an independent investments management firm, with offices in Nairobi - Kenya and D.C. Metro - U.S. We are primarily focused on offering alternative investment solutions to global and local institutional investors, individual high net-worth investors, and diaspora investors interested in the East-African region.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively developing and maintaining valuable stakeholder relationships, with all stakeholders including funding institutions, regulators, real estate stakeholders, and all stakeholders that interact with the Corporate office
  • Assisting business units to effectively consult and engage stakeholders on relevant projects Developing and implementing Cytonn’s stakeholder engagement strategies and evaluating the effectiveness of these strategies
  • Coordinate stakeholder contact through the implementation of a stakeholder contact management system
  • Ensuring stakeholders are recognised as partners in the development and delivery of Cytonn’s strategic goals
  • Conduct stakeholder satisfaction research projects, including developing and implementing strategies for continually improving stakeholder satisfaction across the firm
  • Manage stakeholder forums, meetings and special events
  • Advising senior management of issues and/or risks to stakeholder relationships as soon as they arise so risks can be managed effectively
  • Ensuring Cytonn’s management and staff understand the value of, and are committed to the genuine participation of stakeholders in the development of products and services designed to meet stakeholder needs
  • Weekly progress reporting on all stakeholders’ matters, on a timely basis
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned

    Requirements

  • A bachelors degree with a minimum of second Class Honours, Upper Division
  • A B+ and above in KCSE or
    equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ corporate experience in stakeholder engagement/management, communications, consultation, or relevant field. Experience in a bank, fund manager, or any such local institution focused on financial services or real estate will be an added advantage
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a relevant field is an added advantage Ability to manage all stakeholders at all levels within an organisation
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills -ability to adhere to deadlines, multi-task and be able to prioritize
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with great accuracy, organization, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated creativity & innovation in business
  • Ability to work closely with, grow and lead a team
  • Highly developed relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage all stakeholders at all levels within an organisation
