Job Description

Search for floated or advertised tenders and review suitability for companies to bid
Preparation of requirements and communication with suppliers to obtain relevant specifications/requirements

Prepare bids and standardised bid templates and documentation

Develop bid and tender strategy

Prepare initial bid documentation and coordinate obtaining required approvals

Compilation of various input to create

compelling and complete bids

Evaluation and contract negotiation

Monitoring deadlines

Degree

Qualifications

Bcom, Professional education in Purchasing preferred with strong knowledge of local business practices and legal processes
Software

MS Office proficiency

Knowledge Of

Experience in Tender Processes - RFIs, RFQ's and RFP's

Skills To

Procurement contractual skills, fluency in spoken and written English.

Ability To

Demonstrated ability to perform independently with minimal supervison.

Other Requirements

TANEPS knowledge and how to, a huge bonus (TANePS - Tanzanian National e-Procurement System)
