CUE Senior ICT Assistant Jobs in Kenya





Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:

  • Installing, updating, and optimizing network systems

  • Monitoring servers, Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Wi-Fi to ensure coverage

  • Coordinating design, implementation, and support of new software and features

  • Attending to ICT-related issues, hardware maintenance, software, and networking

  • Initiating procurement requisitions from the stores for CUE ICT department

  • Providing helpdesk and technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visit

  • Setting up equipment for new users and employees and onboarding them on their usage

  • Coordinating repair and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals

  • Ensuring system optimization for all technology resources

  • Performing data backups to ensure all Commission data and systems are secure

  • Implementing, installing, and maintaining Commission’s communication and telephone systems

    Person Specifications

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems from a recognized institution in Kenya with four (4) years relevant work experience

  • Professional qualifications and membership to professional bodies

  • Relevant ICT certification from recognized certification bodies

  • Proficiency in computer applications

  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
