CUE Assistant Commission Secretary – Quality Assurance, Standardization, Recognition and Equation of Qualifications Jobs in Kenya





Duties and responsibilities will entail:

  • Disseminating information on recognition and equation of degrees, diplomas and certificates conferred or awarded by foreign and private universities

  • Implementing guidelines for recognition and equation of degrees, diplomas and certificates conferred or accredited by local and foreign universities and institutions

  • Evaluating applications for licensing from student recruitment agencies

  • Designing instruments for licensing of student recruitment agencies

  • Advising on licensing of student recruitment agencies operating in Kenya and activities by foreign institutions

  • Coordinating the collection of data on qualifications and student recruitment agencies

  • Conducting quality audits on student recruitment agencies and preparing reports

  • Developing quarterly and annual work plans

  • Preparing departmental budgets and procurement plans

    Person Specifications

  • At least eight (8) years’ experience, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory role

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Education, Business Administration, Law, Social Sciences or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution

  • Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution

  • Membership to relevant professional bodies and in good standing

  • Proficiency in computer applications

  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
