Overview of Position

CTG is looking for qualified staff as per TOR below

Role Objectives

Install, configure, operate & maintain HP & Cisco server hardware, firmware & management software.

Install, configure, operate, administer & provide support for VMWare server virtualization platforms & Windows & Linux operating systems.

Implement backups of servers following

standard backup procedures.

Project Reporting

Report to the line manager

Key Competencies

Minimal 5 year experience in installing, configuring & managing server hardware & VMWare virtualized environments & Windows & Linux operating systems in large & complex environments.

Experience in managing & monitoring HP rack & blade systems, Cisco UCS-E blades.

Experience with Symantec net backup & EMC data domain products.

Experience with a project management methodology such as PMP, PRINCE2, etc.
Knowledge of the ITIL framework.

Experience in customer services & the ability to provide a professional interface with the user community.

Good interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail.

Proven ability to work under pressure.

Ability to work outside normal working hours if required.

Industry recognized certifications are an asset.
