CTG Field Team Leader Jobs in Nigeria ; Under the overall guidance of the DTM Programme Officer and the technical supervision of the DTM Project Assistant/Senior Programme Associate, the Field Team Leader will provide administrative and project support for the implementation of the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) project in Nigeria.

The role ensures effective data collection, monitoring, and reporting in collaboration with field teams and partners.

Role Objectives

  • Assist in implementing data collection exercises with government counterparts and partners.

  • Maintain teamwork and communication with DTM staff, partners, key informants and stakeholders.

  • Monitor and evaluate DTM activities related to mobility, registration, flow monitoring and surveys.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in assessments through rigorous quality checks.

  • Collect and submit data using mobile tools and Kobo server within required timelines.

  • Support capacity building of enumerators and partners on DTM methodology.

  • Implement community engagement, mobilisation and sensitisation programmes.

  • Compile weekly and monthly field location reports.

  • Manage enumerator timesheets and coordinate with DTM Admin.

  • Adhere to Data Protection Policy, promote diversity and maintain ethical standards.

  • Coordinate staff deployment and safety at registration sites.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Project Reporting

  • Reports to the DTM Project Assistant/Senior Programme Associate.

    Key Competencies

  • Good management and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently with flexibility and integrity.

  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Knowledge of mobile data collection technologies and GPS.

  • Good knowledge of Taraba State geography and culture.

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, internet, email).

  • Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Social Science, Geography,
    IT, Computer Science or related field.

  • Experience in data collection and information management in conflict or disaster settings.

  • Minimum one year of experience monitoring teams during data collection.

  • Experience with International Organizations, UN, INGO or NNGO an advantage.

  • Experience in DTM data collection an advantage.

  • Respect for diversity, integrity and transparency.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across units.

  • Commitment to delivering quality results and continuous learning.

  • Strong communication skills to explain complex matters clearly.

    Team Management

  • No managerial responsibility.
