CTG DTM Project Assistant Jobs in Nigeria ; Under the overall and direct supervision of the DTM Programme Officer, and in close coordination with the DTM Senior Programme Associate, the Project Assistant provides administrative and overall project support for the implementation of the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) project in Nigeria.

Role Objectives

  • Assist in implementation and monitoring of project activities.

  • Retrieve, compile, summarise and present information/data on project topics.

  • Monitor budget, verify availability of funds and update budget information.

  • Support administrative coordination of project implementation, liaising with units and external parties.

  • Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, tables and presentations.

  • Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions.

  • Respond to general information requests and maintain files/records.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Project Reporting

  • Reports to the DTM Programme Officer and works closely with the DTM Senior Programme Associate.

    Key Competencies

  • Experience liaising with government authorities, UN agencies and NGOs.

  • Experience working with migrants, refugees, IDPs, victims of trafficking and vulnerable groups.

  • Prior work experience with humanitarian organisations in multicultural settings an advantage.

  • Knowledge of migration‑related subject areas, UN and donor programming.

  • Knowledge of financial rules, regulations and IPSAS.

  • Strong logistics skills for project implementation.

  • Good communication skills and proven teamwork ability.

  • High computer literacy (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritise and work independently.

  • Attention to detail and ability
    to collect statistical information accurately.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.

  • Working knowledge of local languages in Northeast, Northwest and North‑Central Nigeria.

  • Respect for diversity, inclusion and high ethical standards.

  • Ability to work competently, exercise judgment and show compassion.

  • Effective collaboration within and across units to achieve shared goals.

    Team Management

  • No managerial responsibility.
