CTG Country Finance Assistant Jobs in Nigeria


CTG Country Finance Assistant Jobs in Nigeria; Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant supports CTG’s financial operations by ensuring accurate processing, compliance and timely reporting across core areas.

Role Objectives

Supplier & Client Invoices

  • Process supplier invoices with proper documentation.

  • Generate and reconcile client invoices with COOs and payroll; record in Sage.

  • Support timely client payments and follow up on overdue receivables.

  • Resolve invoice‑related queries.

    Payroll & Taxes

  • Support timely payroll for consultants and staff.

  • Prepare schedules for remittances (pensions, housing, healthcare).

  • Reconcile payroll data with contracts and tax regulations; issue payslips.

  • Calculate and process PIT, social security and local taxes.

  • Ensure timely tax payments, filings and audit support.

  • Coordinate with legal and represent CTG with local tax authorities.

    Cash & Bank Transactions

  • Manage cash transactions and prepare bank reconciliations.

  • Assist with bank account oversight and cash request planning.

    Budgeting & Reporting

  • Support data collection for budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.

  • Prepare summary financial reports and assist with audits.

  • Ensure accurate data entry in financial systems; propose improvements.

  • Maintain financial documentation and support other departments.

    Project Reporting

  • Reports directly to the Regional Finance Manager.

    Key Competencies

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in payroll, invoice management and accounts payable/receivable, ideally in international
    context.

  • Fluent in English and French.

  • Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks and advanced Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with tax compliance.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Ethical, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.

  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
