Crown Beachfront Vipingo ICT Officer Jobs in Kenya; To safeguard the company’s guests, employees, visitors, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment through effective surveillance, access control, emergency response, incident reporting, and enforcement of security policies and procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and breaches.

Control access by verifying identity of guests, visitors, contractors, and employees.

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas.

Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security equipment, responding to alerts appropriately.

Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and guest assistance requests.

Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities.

Enforce security policies, procedures, and access control measures.

Monitor movement of company assets and ensure compliance with protection procedures.

Conduct vehicle, luggage, and parcel inspections per company policies.

Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

Assist in crowd control during events and functions.

Promote safety awareness by reporting hazards and unsafe practices.

Maintain occurrence books, visitor registers, and security records.

Ensure

security equipment is functional and report defects.

Provide courteous assistance to guests and visitors.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of incidents reported and resolved.

Response time to emergencies.

Compliance with patrol schedules.

Accuracy and timeliness of reports.

Reduction in theft, loss, and property damage.

Compliance with access control procedures.

Functionality of CCTV and security systems.

Customer satisfaction with security services.

Compliance with safety and emergency procedures.

Timeliness of reporting risks and hazards.

Education, Skills & Experience

Diploma in Criminology, Security Management, Security Studies, Public Administration, or related field.

Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality.

Sound knowledge of security procedures, access control, CCTV, emergency response, and incident management.
