Crown Beachfront Vipingo Human Resource Officer Jobs in Kenya; To support the implementation of HR and administrative policies, systems, and procedures by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, HR records management, statutory compliance, payroll administration, and general administrative functions to ensure an efficient, productive, and compliant workforce.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes including advertising, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.

  • Prepare employment contracts, promotion, transfer, disciplinary, and separation documentation.

  • Coordinate induction and orientation programmes.

  • Support performance management processes including appraisals and development plans.

  • Coordinate staff training programmes and maintain training records.

  • Administer employee leave, attendance, and timekeeping records.

  • Support payroll preparation by ensuring accuracy of employee data and statutory deductions.

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, occupational safety, and company policies.

  • Handle employee relations matters and assist in resolving grievances.

  • Coordinate employee welfare programmes and engagement initiatives.

  • Prepare periodic HR reports and workforce analytics.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and SOPs.

  • Coordinate statutory compliance relating to NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, and other requirements.

  • Support succession planning, talent management, and retention initiatives.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

  • Coordinate general administrative functions as assigned.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by
    the HR & Administration Manager.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Time taken to fill approved vacancies.

  • Onboarding completed within timelines.

  • Accuracy and completeness of employee records.

  • Payroll data submitted accurately and on time.

  • Compliance with statutory reporting and remittances.

  • Employee turnover rate.

  • Employee satisfaction and engagement levels.

  • Number of labour disputes and resolution timelines.

  • Training programmes implemented per annual plan.

  • Timeliness of HR reports.

  • Compliance with HR policies and legislation.

  • Audit compliance relating to HR records.

    Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration (HR option), Commerce (HR option), or related field.

  • CHRP Part II or equivalent HR professional qualification.

  • Registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), Kenya.

  • Minimum 3 years’ HR experience, preferably in hospitality.

  • Sound knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, HR policies, performance management, recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and statutory compliance.

  • Proficiency in HRIS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
