Crown Beachfront Vipingo Human Resource Manager Jobs in Kenya; To provide strategic and operational leadership in Human Resource Management by planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring HR policies, systems, and practices that attract, develop, motivate, and retain a highly competent workforce while ensuring compliance with Kenyan labour laws and hospitality industry standards.

Duties

  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of employees in line with workforce requirements.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance management systems to enhance productivity.

  • Promote employee welfare, engagement, and well‑being by fostering a positive work environment.

  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning, capacity‑building, and succession planning.

  • Manage disciplinary and grievance processes in accordance with policies and labour laws.

  • Administer employee leave, attendance, and HR records while ensuring compliance.

  • Coordinate payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate submission of inputs, deductions, and benefits.

  • Develop, review, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Coordinate staff performance appraisals and guide performance improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and statutory obligations.

  • Perform any
    other duties assigned by the General Manager.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Staff turnover maintained within approved targets.

  • Annual staff training hours achieved per training plan.

  • High employee satisfaction and engagement levels.

  • Recruitment completed within approved time‑to‑hire targets.

  • Full compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR policies.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.

  • Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in good standing.

  • CHRP(K) certification is mandatory.

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR Management within the hospitality industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, HR policy implementation, payroll coordination, leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
