Job Description

The auditor will have the responsibility to ensure the commission’s financial transactions are compliant with laws and procedures to advance its employment and job creation agenda in Ethiopia and actively contribute to the economic development of Ethiopia.

The procurement officer reports directly to the commissioner and have the following responsibilities:

Prepare a procurement work plan and regularly assess implementation against the work plan

Examine company accounts and financial control systems

Check the financial reports are accurate and reliable

Ensure financial activities of the commission follow financial laws

Verify assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.

Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings

Communicate audit findings to the commissioner through audit reports

Identify when processes are not working and as they should and propose possible changes

Report to the internal operations director and/or the commissioner on undertakings, regularly or/and upon request

Undertake all

other relevant activities assigned by the Director of Finance, Procurement, Property and General Services and/or the Commissioner

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

MA/BA in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields

A minimum of 4/2 years of work experience in related field

Job Grade: VII
