Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Records Management or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution and

  • Certificate in Computer Applications.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring security of files and documents;

  • Ensuring proper handling of documents, pending correspondences and bring-ups;

  • Receiving and dispatching mail and maintaining related registers;

  • Preparing disposal schedules; and

  • Disposing dead files in accordance with relevant government regulations
