Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Diploma in Land Surveying from a recognized institution;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

A good inter-personal and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Carrying out angular and distance measurements and computation for medium
and high density cadastral, topographical, Engineering and sub-divisional schemes;

Plan and implement survey programmes;

Review and up-date geospatial data for use by other agencies;

Ensure the safety of survey records, tools and equipment;

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports; and

Undertaking any other duties that may be assigned by the County Director of Survey.
