County Public Service Board of Nyandarua Geographical Information System Assistant Jobs in Kenya


Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

  • Have Diploma in Geographic Information System (GIS) from a recognized institution;

  • Have Extensive knowledge in the use of GIS and CAD software (ArcGIS, AutoCAD)

  • Have Proficiency in computer applications; and

  • Good inter-personal and communication skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use and maintenance of personal computer hardware and software;

  • Data capture, analysis and generation of information and reports;

  • Updating county spatial plans;

  • Application of standards for geographic information exchange, distribution, data collection and data structuring; and

  • Any other duties as may be assigned by County Director of Survey.
