Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Served in the grade of Principal Administrative Officer in the public service or any other set up;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and

  • Master’s degree in any social sciences or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and

  • Demonstrated the ability to coordinate high level executive business.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining inventory register for assets and equipments in the Department;

  • Responsible for transport management;

  • Ensuring security of office equipment and personnel;

  • Ensuring smooth flow of work on cabinet matters;

  • Drafting cabinet papers;

  • Maintain the cabinet calendar
