County Government of Siaya REF: SCPSB/1/3/2018 County Attorney - J.G ‘S’ (CPSB 02) Jobs

Responsibilities

The County Attorney shall be the Chief Legal Advisor to the County Government of Siaya including the Executive, the Assembly and the County Public Service Board.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade a candidate must:-

Be a Kenyan citizen

Have a Bachelor of laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university

Have a post-graduate diploma in legal studies from the Council of Legal Education

Have a Master degree in law or any other relevant social science from a recognized university

Be a practicing advocate of the High Court of Kenya

Have at least five (5) years of practicing experience

Have a valid practicing certificate from the Kenya Law Society

Have a Certificate in Strategic leadership development course or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Be Proficient in computer applications

Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010

County Government of Siaya REF: SCPSB/4/3/2018 Principal Information & Communication Technology Officer J.G ‘N’ (CPSB 06) Jobs

Responsibilities

The Principal Information Communication Technology Officer will assist the department in control, development of systems and procedures and operations of the integrated electronic payment systems.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science/ Information Communication Technology or in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.

Certification in Payment Systems and non-cash transactions or equivalent exposure to the Integrated Financial Management Information System or other government payment systems will be an added advantage.

Have at least 5 years relevant working experience.

Attended a Management Course from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:- undertaking research on assigned legal issues: collecting and collating research data: liaising with the county attorney and advising on various legal policy issues.

Requirements for Appointment

Must be a Kenyan citizen

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university;

Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Council of 'Legal Education;

Be a practicing advocate of the High Court of Kenya

Have a valid practicing certificate from the Kenya Law Society

Proficiency in computer applications

At least three (3) years relevant working experience
