County Government of Nyeri County Internal Auditor II Jobs in Kenya



Responsibilities

  • Review internal control systems and report weaknesses.

  • Undertake specific audit assignments and prepare detailed audit observations.

  • Review budgetary controls on issuance of authority to incur expenditure and commitments.

  • Review internal controls on revenue and accounting periodically.

  • Advise on deviations from approved levels.

  • Ensure government assets, plant, equipment, supplies, and stores are properly recorded and safeguarded.

  • Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

    Requirements

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen (attach ID).

  • KCPE and KCSE Certificates (attach copies).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration (Accounting or Finance option).

  • CPA Part II or equivalent qualification.

  • Relevant experience of two years and above (attach evidence).
