County Government of Nyeri Assistant Inspectorate Officer II Jobs in Kenya



Responsibilities

  • Collect information and report on security matters.

  • Conduct preliminary investigations and record statements.

  • Control traffic flow and crowds during county events.

  • Assist customer care desk staff in receiving and directing visitors.

  • Hoist flags and respond to distress calls from the public.

  • Guard and secure county government buildings and vital installations.

  • Screen people and vehicles entering county offices and public places.

  • Ensure compliance with county laws in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies.

  • Execute orders and warrants lawfully issued to county law breakers and give evidence in court.

  • Maintain order in markets, bus parks, and other county premises.

  • Conduct frequent inspections on regulated activities to ensure compliance.

  • Assist in disaster management and response.

  • Perform any other duty assigned by superiors.

    Requirements

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen (attach ID).

  • KCPE Certificate (attach copy).

  • KCSE Certificate with a minimum mean grade of D+ (attach copy).

  • Must be physically fit.

  • Must be medically fit (attach valid medical report from a recognized government health facility).

  • Have no criminal record or pending criminal charges (attach valid Certificate of Good Conduct).

  • Must be between 20–35 years of age.

  • NYS or other recognized security certificate will be an added advantage (attach valid NYS Discharge Certificate/Certificate).
