County Government of Nyeri Animal Health Assistant II Jobs in Kenya



Responsibilities

  • Participate in disease research and reporting.

  • Demonstrate and train on milking techniques.

  • Demonstrate external parasite control techniques such as dipping, spraying, and dusting.

  • Carry out vaccination, closed castration, dehorning, deworming, disbudding, docking, de-beaking, hoof trimming, and meat inspection.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

    Requirements

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen (attach ID).

  • KCPE and KCSE Certificates (attach copies).

  • Certificate lasting not less than two years in Animal Health or Animal Health and Production.

  • Registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) and retained in the register.

  • Licensed by the KVB with a valid practicing license.

  • Certificate in Meat Inspection from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

  • Relevant experience of two years and above (attach evidence).
