Nandi County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following position. The details on job descriptions and specifications are available on the County’s website online .

The details of the advertised positions are available at all the Sub- County Headquarters; Kapsabet, Kobujoi, Nandi Hills, Kabiyet, Chemundu, Maraba and the Public Service Board Offices. For any necessary enquiry email cpsb@nandi.go.ke

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patients outcomes.
  • Providing appropriate health care service including integrated management of childhood illness (IMCI).
  • Immunization,PMTCT, antenatal and initiating discharge plans maintaining records on patients, clients health condition and care.
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment and collecting / compiling data.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Diploma in any of following disciplines ;
  • Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Mental Health Kenya Registered Nursing / Midwifery.
  • Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

  • Letter from the local chief (for support staff and cleaners ONLY);
  • Copies of academic and professional certificates; and testimonials

    groups (P AND ABOVE )MUST submit the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity and will be required to produce clearance/compliance certificates from the following agencies-

  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC);
  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
    Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);
  • Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Good Conduct).
  • Credit Reference Bureau (C.R.B)
