Nandi County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following position. The details on job descriptions and specifications are available on the County’s website online .

The details of the advertised positions are available at all the Sub- County Headquarters; Kapsabet, Kobujoi, Nandi Hills, Kabiyet, Chemundu, Maraba and the Public Service Board Offices. For any necessary enquiry email cpsb@nandi.go.ke

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Taking history
  • Examining, diagnosing and treating patients common ailments.
  • Implementing community health care activities in liaison with other health workers.
  • Guiding and counselling patients, clients and staff on health issues.
  • Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health.
  • Responsible for day to day administration of anaesthesia
  • Viewing pre-operative patient and post -operative management of surgical patient at the County referral and sub county referral hospitals
  • Any other duty that is assigned by your supervisor.

    Requirements for Appointment.

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;-

  • Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery or clinical medicine and community Health from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate of registration from the Clinical Officers council.
  • Certificate in computer application skills from a a recognized institution

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;-

  • Bachelors Degree in Clinical medicine from recognised institution.
  • Certificate of registration from the Clinical Officers council.
  • Certificate in computer application skills from a a recognized institution

  • Copy of national identity card;
  • Letter from the local
    chief (for support staff and cleaners ONLY);
  • Copies of academic and professional certificates; and testimonials
    Curriculum Vitae.
    Interested candidates from Job groups (P AND ABOVE )MUST submit the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity and will be required to produce clearance/compliance certificates from the following agencies-

  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC);
  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
    Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);
  • Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Good Conduct).
  • Credit Reference Bureau (C.R.B)
