County Government of Migori Inspector Water Supply Jobs Kenya


Migori County Public Service Board is a Body corporate established under section 57 of the County Government Act 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Section 59 of the County Government Act 2012 outlines the functions of the Board, pursuant to Constitutional and Legal provisions, Migori County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill twelve (12) vacancies of Member, Isebania, Rongo and Awendo Municipalities pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010 under Article 184 (1) (b) and County Government Act sections 49, 58 and 63 and as provided in the Urban Areas and Cities Act (No. 13 of 2011) section 13(2).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Checking operation charts and monthly revenue returns;
  • Collecting and analysing data;
  • Supervising operations and maintenance of water supplies and sewerage treatment works;
  • Maintaining records of water supplies and sewerage schemes;
  • Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements for appointment

  • Be a Kenyan citizen;
  • Be a Holder of either three (3) years Certificate in technical training or a Diploma in Water
    Engineering or Water Supply Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Have at least three (3) years' experience in design and supervision of water and related projects
  • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

  • Hand delivered applications should be dropped at the offices of the Migori County Public Service Board
    located at Msomi Teachers’ College on Migori/Isebania Highway.
  • All applications should reach the Secretary/CEO Migori County Public Service Board on or before Monday December 17th, 2018 at 5:00pm
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.

    For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:

  • Tax compliance certificate from KRA
  • Clearance certificate from HELB
  • Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
  • Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
