County Government of Kirinyaga Ward Administrator Jobs in Kenya

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate, manage, and supervise the general administrative function in the ward unit

Liaise with National Government staff at the ward level

Develop policies and plans for the ward level

Ensure effective service delivery

Establish, implement, and monitor performance management systems

Coordinate development activities to empower the community

Provide and maintain infrastructure and facilities of public service

Facilitate and coordinate citizen participation in the development of policies and delivery of services

Exercise any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board/County Secretary/Sub-County Administrator

Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

Be a Kenyan citizen

Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, Community Development, or any other Social Science from a recognized university with at least three (3) years of working experience

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of County development objectives

Demonstrate a thorough understanding and commitment to values and principles as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010

Ability to work in a multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in computer applications

Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
