County Government of Kirinyaga County Valuation Officer Jobs in Kenya
Duties & Responsibilities Initiate, review, and supervise preparation of valuation rolls and supplementary valuation rolls
Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate valuation projects and programmes
Coordinate investigations on valuation disputes and appeals
Prepare valuation projects
Collect and analyze market data for valuation purposes
Undertake stamp duty valuation
Inspect land and properties for rating, purchase, sale, and leasing purposes
Undertake searches on titles in land registration for various purposes
Prepare plans
Process gazettement notices for compulsory acquisitions and reservations
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Land Management, Property Studies, Land Administration, Survey, Physical Planning, or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
Minimum of three years working experience
Master’s degree in any of the fields will be an added advantage
Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles as outlined in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
