Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade into this cadre.

An officer at this level will be assigned mechanical engineering duties and will work under close supervision of an experienced officer.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail; design of mechanical services in government buildings and construction works;
repair and maintenance of mechanical installations in airports, waterworks, officer, workshops conference complexes and other government facilities.

Requirements for Appointment

Be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and

Be registered by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.
