    Job Description and Job Specification:
    Terms of Service:
  • Permanent and pensionable

    Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly progress reports on each projects;
  • Conduct periodic site inspection visits to ascertain adherence to building specifications/standards;
  • Monitoring of work progress;
  • Planning of supervision programs for buildings in the annual works programmes;
  • Coordinate supervision of repairs and alterations in depots.

    Requirements for appointment:

  • Served in the grade of Chief Superintendent(Building) or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for at least three(3) years;
  • A Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or Construction Technician Certificate Part III or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Must have attended a management course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Must have administrative ability, wide knowledge and experience in preparation of drawing and management of drawings office.
