County Government of Kakamega Superintendents (Water and Sewerage) Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

bills of quantities for water projects;

Monitor the adherence to specification and standards;

Ensure that the projects progress as per schedule;

Supervise complex water works;

Preparing water supply and sewerage programmes;

Evaluating and advising on technical reports; and

Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment

Be a Kenyan citizen;

Have served in the grade of Chief Superintendent (Water and Sewerage), Job Group CPSB 07 (‘M’) for a minimum period of three (3) years;
OR

Served in the grade of Superintending Engineer (Water and Sewerage) Job Group CPSB 07 (‘M’) for a minimum period of three (3) years;

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Water Supply Technology, Water Engineering, Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya;

Have a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;

Be registered with a relevant professional body; and

Demonstrate outstanding professional competence and administrative ability as reflected in work performance and results.
