County Government of Kakamega Laboratory Analyst Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities

This is the entry grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-

Receive, record, package, dispatch, analyze and preserve samples;

Maintaining laboratory equipment/instruments;

Prepare and write technical analysis reports and certificates of analysis;

Prepare media, stains and dyes;

Maintain biological cultures;

Calibrating laboratory equipment;

Ensure Standardization of laboratory procedures; and

Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

Be a Kenyan Citizen;

Have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory sciences from a recognized institution; and

Have a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
