Duties and Responsibilities

a) Operationalizing the veterinary laboratory under the supervision of the veterinary officer;

b) Field sampling of suspected animals’ samples and Laboratory examination;

c) Packaging of infected materials for submission to regional or national veterinary
Laboratories and

d) Compiling reports.

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, one must:-

a) Be a Kenyan Citizen

b) Have a two (2) year certificate in laboratory Technology

c) Have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C (Plain) or its
Equivalent.
