Duties and Responsibilities

a) Assisting in the delivery of fisheries extension services including field days and training
the fisher folk and

b) Collecting and compiling of fisheries statistical data and carrying out fish inspection and
marketing.

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, one must:-

a) Have a diploma in any one of the following fields; Aquaculture, fisheries management,
natural resource management and in other equivalent field.

b) Have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of C (Plain) or its
Equivalent.
