County Government of Bomet Revenue Clerk Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the officer in charge, he/she will: -

  • Record all sources of county revenue.
  • Maintain financial and online payment systems
  • Collect information, calculate taxes, fees, and other expenses, and do billing.
  • Receive payment and issuing receipts to customers
  • Deposit cash and check in the bank on a daily basis
  • Inform and issue customers with demand notices
  • Maintain utilities records and produced monthly reports on collections
  • Perform coding and reconciliation of customers’ accounts
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in revenue collections
  • Process daily cash receipts and verified cashier totals

    Requirements for Appointment
    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

  • Holder of Certificate in Accounts or KCSE grade D- and above;
  • Proficiency in computer application skills;
  • Minimum two (2) years relevant experience.

    Terms of Service:

  • Permanent and Pensionable
