County Government of Bomet Principal Environment Officer Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Assistant Director Environment and Natural Resources, the office will be responsible for:

  • Implementation and coordination of county environment and natural resources programs, projects and activities at the sub county level;
  • Preparation of county budgets and work plans;
  • Compilation of county reports as frequently as may be required.
  • Offering advisory and extension services to community associations
  • Controlling of air pollution, air emissions and other non-permissible public nuisances
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned.

    Requirements

    For appointment to this position, an officer must have;

  • Bachelors Degree in the relevant area
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant experience
  • Be registered with relevant professional organisation as a member;
  • Have demonstrated professional competence and administrative ability required at this level;
  • Must be computer literate.

    Terms of Service:

  • Permanent and Pensionable
