County Government of Bomet Geo-Information Survey Officer Jobs in Kenya

The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to Assistant Director Lands, Housing and Urban Planning, the officer will: -

Organize and precut digitization of hard copy maps

Advice in purchasing of GIS

Train staff on use of equipment and software’s for processing data

Advise in implementation and formation of GIS lab

Coordinate large survey works

Coordinate engineering surveys and perform computation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Land Survey Engineering or equivalent

Computer literate/ Proficiency

Minimum three (3) years relevant experience

Good Interpersonal skills

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Graduate Member of Institution of Surveyors of Kenya

Terms of Service:

Permanent and Pensionable
