County Government of Bomet Director / Performance Contracting & Governors Delivery Jobs in Kenya


The County Government of Bomet through the Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions: -

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Office Public Service, he or she will be responsible for:

  • Managing performance contracting in the county Government
  • Coordinating implementation of the County Integrated Performance Management System.
  • Coordinating dissemination and reporting on the County Performance Management plan.
  • Coordinating efficiency monitoring functions across Departments.
  • Providing support in analyzing performance review reports and verifying the integrity of the reports.
  • Making proposals /recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Supporting the Governor`s office and County Secretary in developing annual performance plans and targets.
  • Prepare performance reports for transmission to the County Assembly.
  • Manage and plan for citizen participation in the evaluation of the County Government Performance.
  • Organize public events for sharing of performance reports and recognition of exemplary performance in the County Public
    Service.
  • Liaise with the County Public Service Board on the Performance Management in Public Service.
  • Monitor and evaluate implementation of County Government policies, programmes, strategic plans and performance
    contracts.
  • Maintain safe custody of record from department
  • Champion for performance contracting in the county
  • Communicate decisions of the executive
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on performance contracting

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Industrial relations / Business Administration/Government or any relevant field
  • Master’s Degree in
    the relevant from a recognized university is an added advantage
  • Postgraduate Diploma in HR or equivalent.
  • Membership to any relevant professional body.
  • In-depth professional knowledge and experience in a specialized field or broad knowledge of a number of fields such
    as Budgeting, Knowledge of relevant legislation and Knowledge of professional standards
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant field 3 years of which should be at senior management level in the public or private
    sector

    Terms of Service:

  • Three (3) Year Contract
