County Assembly of Kericho Driver I Jobs in Kenya

Duties and responsibilities will entail: -

Driving vehicles and detecting common mechanical faults;

Carrying out minor repairs;

Maintaining work tickets for vehicles assigned;

Ensuring safety of the vehicle on and off the road;

Maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle; and;

Ensuring adherence to or observations of traffic laws.

Qualifications

Valid driving license free from any current endorsements and valid for anyof the classes of
vehicles which the officer is required to drive;

Defensive driving certificate from Automobile association (AA) of Kenya or itsequivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;

Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade I;

A First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John Ambulance or
Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology
(KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;

A Valid Certificate of Good Conduct; and

Demonstrated integrity and professional competence as reflected in work performance and results
