Our client is a market leader in supply of wide range of products and technology for the Kitchen ventilation, fire safety and integrated lighting solutions for professional kitchens, Restaurants and Food Courts.

The company operates from Europe and is looking to open an office in East African region with a base in Nairobi.

The company is seeking to recruit a Country Sales Manager.

Overall Objective of the Role:

The main purpose of the job is to develop and manage sales in Kenya and East African Region by supporting and implementing the overall vision, its strategy and growth targets in line with the company’s objectives.

Specific Objectives of the Role

  • Growth in sales, meet the sales targets, meet the profit targets – set for each year by time
    Customer satisfaction in the area
  • Employee satisfaction in sales offices
  • Support the Organisation’s strategic consistency in sales
  • Bring customer voice to the management team
  • Assure total profitability and manage fixed costs in all sales operations
  • Assure the competence development in organization
  • 3-years development planning for each market and its follow-up

    Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage sales in the area.
  • Meet the annually set sales & profit targets, in accordance with implementation of annual action plans.
  • Specific strategic focus in full division’s system offering – all products
  • Manage the Company’s Sales Operations, Organization and its resources;
  • Implement the sales strategy in coordination with top management
  • Develop sales operations in coordination with the superior
  • Set the strategic & financial goals and measures for total Area sales to be in line with strategic business area’s strategy & financial goals together with the superior
  • Salespersons selection and training
    Implementation of focused
    customer approach, customer classification
  • SalesForce and Customer Relations Management and implementation in all aspect in Sales organisation
  • Organisations measures; development and follow-up and reporting
  • Manage and develop own personal sales area and its sales targets.
  • Manage and develop agent/partner network, if actual in the area, together with management.
  • International Key Customer development in the area in accordance with the organisation’s strategy
  • Maintain, improve and develop communication and cooperation with other units in the organisation

    Minimum Academic Requirement
  • Degree in Business Related Course
  • Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales as a Sales Manager or its equivalent
  • Experience in sales in any of the following areas will be an added advantage
  • Foodservice Industry
  • Hospitality Industry in 4 or 5* hotels
  • Fast food chains
  • Heating, ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
