Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations Head of Commercial, Partnerships and Strategic Communications Jobs in Kenya



Responsibilities

  • Lead CECAFA’s commercial, partnerships and communications agenda.

  • Strengthen CECAFA’s commercial position, generate sustainable revenue and secure partnerships.

  • Develop and implement commercial strategy with clear revenue targets.

  • Identify and secure sponsorships, broadcasting, advertising and licensing opportunities.

  • Manage sponsor relationships and oversee brand positioning.

  • Integrate sponsorship and partner requirements into competitions and events.

  • Monitor commercial performance and provide reports to the Executive Director.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Communications or related field.

  • Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in commercial development, sponsorships or partnerships, with 3 years in a senior role.

  • Proven track record in securing partnerships.

  • Strong understanding of sponsorship, brand management, broadcasting and digital platforms.

  • Excellent negotiation, leadership and communication skills.

  • Fluency in English required; other CECAFA languages an advantage.
