Job Summary

A DevOps Engineer is an expert who supports developers, implements best practices, and ensures smooth code deployment to production servers. They optimize software development processes, focusing on efficiency and reliability, with expertise in operating system design and database management systems software installation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement integrations requested by customers.
    Provide Level 2 technical support.

  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.

  • Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.

  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors.

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues.

  • Develop scripts to automate visualization.

  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for applications and services.

  • Promote the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to maintain infrastructure changes in version-controlled scripts.

  • Continuously optimize system performance and resource utilization, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to improve application speed and reliability.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system diagrams.

  • Handles any other job assigned from time to time by the Management.

    Education Qualification, Certification and Experience

  • B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Good knowledge of software languages.

  • Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.

  • Infrastructure scalability and performance optimization.

  • Automation of operational tasks.

  • Linux and Windows system administration.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.

  • 3 - 5 years minimum
    proven experience in a related field
