Job Details

  • Under the supervision of the IT Director, the IT Operations Manager ensures that systems, services and infrastructures operate in a reliable and secure manner .

    Job Descriptions

    • Implement the COPEDU Plc policy in the IT field

    • In collaboration with the Head of the IT Department, supervise and direct the daily activities of the IT department.

    • Execute, maintain, control and monitor the IT Business application portfolio in accordance with service level agreements with the respective banking functions, taking corrective actions when necessary and continuously seeking ways to optimize efficiency to ensure uptime optimal.

    • Respond to user needs or issues and ensure a thorough understanding of solutions to sort out the needs of COPEDU Plc.

    • Perform regular computer system backups, end-of-day and end-of-month closings, and ensure backup media are stored in a controlled and secure location.

    • Monitor the disaster recovery site and ensure real-time data synchronization.

    • Propose strategic solutions and recommend new systems and software.

    • Ensure a good quality of service provided to users by providing them with the necessary support and by resolving technical problems encountered on time

    • Ensure the functioning of the software and the computer network

    • Contribute to the design of new IT solutions and execution of new IT projects

    • Detect
    any anomalies and participate in the development of applications

    • Participate in the development and update of IT department procedures

    • Ensure that all enterprise application operations comply with governance, risk and compliance requirements by strictly adhering to, implementing all recommendations

    • Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand their current and future business needs and manage outsourced partners according to SLA requirements.

    • Produce periodic reports

    • Perform all other similar tasks entrusted to him by his superiors

    Required Qualifications

    • Be between 25 and 35 years old

    • A0 in Information and Technology, Network or similar field

    • At least 3 years of experience in the IT field

    • Mastery of programming and network

    • Have a good spirit of analysis, management and anticipation

    • Be perfectly at ease in Kinyarwanda, French and / or English both orally and in writing

    • Excellent command of computer tools and software used in network

    • Ability to work under pressure

    • Sense of organization, flexibility and firmness

    • Ability to supervise a team

    • Integrity and ethics
