Co-operative Bank of Kenya User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) Designer Jobs;The UI/UX Designer will act as a design lead on projects, making complex user experience decisions and translating business requirements into user flows and wireframes. The role involves facilitating design thinking sessions, developing interaction design and information architecture, conducting research and usability testing, and ensuring best‑in‑class design standards across mobile and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and translate requirements into user flows and wireframes.

  • Facilitate design thinking sessions to identify business and technical needs.

  • Develop user experience, interaction design and information architecture.

  • Gather and analyze design requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys and competitor analysis.

  • Create site maps, flows, wireframes, prototypes and design specifications.

  • Evaluate usability test results and prioritize design tradeoffs.

  • Define process improvements and uphold UX standards.

  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure feasible design solutions.

  • Serve as internal expert on competitive design strategies.

  • Define and manage design schedules and deliverables.

  • Advocate for UI/UX guidelines and standards.

  • Stay updated on UI/UX technologies and industry standards.

    Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business related field; Graphic/Visual Design
    or Digital Media Design qualifications an advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in UI/UX design for mobile and web platforms, product design and management.

  • Proficiency across all phases of UX/UI design process including research, ideation, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and documentation.

  • Expert command of design software: Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).

  • Creative problem‑solver with proven track record of leading complex projects and building consensus.

  • Ability to scope and estimate efforts accurately, prioritize tasks independently and deliver in fast‑paced iterative environments.
