Co-operative Bank of Kenya Sacco Professional Driver Jobs;The Professional Driver provides safe, reliable and professional transport services to the Sacco Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and authorized staff. The role ensures proper maintenance of assigned vehicles and supports administrative and logistical duties. It contributes to efficient operations by facilitating secure transportation, timely delivery of documents and adherence to organizational policies and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide transport support during routine assignments.

Maintain cleanliness and condition of assigned vehicle; report mechanical faults promptly.

Conduct pre‑operation checks on essential vehicle components.

Ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective vehicle use.

Conduct routine inspections and comply with Highway Code and road safety requirements.

Attend to minor mechanical needs; report major faults.

Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and records.

Adhere to traffic laws, road safety requirements and Sacco policies.

Ensure vehicle remains roadworthy and properly maintained.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

KCSE mean grade C (Plain) or recognized certificate.

At least 4 years’ relevant driving experience in a recognized institution or corporate organization.

Valid driving licence for appropriate vehicle class.

Defensive driving skills; certificate an

added advantage.

Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to operate vehicle safely under varied conditions.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

High level of responsibility, integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.

Chapter Six Requirements

Successful candidates must provide clearance documents as required under Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010:

Valid Certificate of Good Conduct (DCI).

Tax Compliance Certificate (KRA).

Clearance/Compliance Certificate (HELB).

Clearance from Ethics and Anti‑Corruption Commission (EACC).

Clearance Certificate from approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
