Gross Salary:

Our client is a leading player in construction and public works in Africa with offices in several countries in the continent.

They seek to hire a Quality Manager to ensure Quality of works on site and implementation of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Represent the management for Quality Safety Environment (QSE) Management System
In-charge of all quality checks on site
Head of the QSE certification: ISO 9001. OSHAS 18001/ ISO 14001 on site

Ensure the implementation and relevance of the QSE policy for the objectives

Ensure that the necessary process for QSE management system are established, implemented and maintained

Lead Quality Department team and set the priorities and quality relay lines of work on site

Provide training and sensitization for the proper functioning of the QSE system

Evaluate the effectiveness of the QSE system through audits and site visits

Check that the improvement actions decided by management and processes are shared with all sites

Manage documents and records of the QSE management system

Advise the construction teams and validate procedures and the Quality Assurance Plan for the site

Define the quality level requirements for subcontracted services

Provide technical and regulatory watch

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Minimum 5 years’ relevant

job experience

Ability to work with others across the organization

Good interpersonal skills

Taking initiative and work with minimum supervision

Organization and Planning

HSE Training is essential

Ability to work independently

Results oriented individual and a team player

Organized, rigorous and precise. Must also have good reporting skills

Recognizes and resolves problems quickly and efficiently

Ability to effectively communicate and deal with clients & team members

Able to work days, evenings and weekends
