Job Purpose

  • To support the human resources manager in all hr related matters to ensure a highly motivated employees, highly productive and disciplined workforce.

  • You will be responsible for administrative
    tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    Human resources

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives

  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)

  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing,
    recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)

  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes

  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations

  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves,
    etc)

  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures

  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database

  • Overseeing employee health and safety procedures

  • Organizing and managing new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs

  • Contacting applicants references

  • Performing criminal background checks required by company

  • Explaining and providing information on employee benefits, programs, and education

  • Maintaining employee records and HR records

  • Answering employee questions and addressing employee concerns with company

  • Reviewing procedures for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and
    managing
    the hiring process
    21)Updating job requirements when needed

    Education and Experience

  • Diploma in HR, social studies or relevant field, with a diploma in HR

  • HR diploma with one year experience

  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)

  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures

  • Proficient in MS Office;

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude

  • Strong ethics and reliability
