CONCERN has been implementing an Emergency Nutrition Programme in Gambella since 2014, with South Sudanese refugees. Concern currently carries out nutrition programming for refugees in Pugnido camp and employs a team of approximately 70 people.

The principle objective of the Gambella Area Coordinator position is to be responsible for the overall management and implementation of Concern’s programme in Pugnido and key activities include coordination of the programme, including strategy development, budget and implementation oversight, liaison with government and other external stakeholders, and to ensure the effective and efficient management of programme and system staff.

The Area Coordinator will also be responsible for representing Concern and coordinating with key stakeholders in nutrition programs at Regional level and ensuring Concern maintains a strong profile in the area.
