Job Summary Handle Compliance activities that will cover audits, customer documentation, process validation, and mapping.
Set and improve the compliance management system of the organization from risk identification – assessment & mitigations, customer requirement, and regulatory/statutory requirement
Implement and roll out an effective monitoring process/system in compliance with ISO and other best-known methods and tools across ADEC Kenya sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
Spearhead compliance activities on standards management systems through collaborative engagement with process owners, auditors, and officers of the organization.
Provides full support on various projects that need risks assessment and assessment on compliance to Standard and best-known practices.
Carry out audits to ensure compliance of the members of the organization to company rules and regulations, which shall include but are not limited to the Employee Code of Discipline, the policies on Quality Management System (QMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), Environment Health & Safety (EHS), and Environmental Management System (EMS); and other duties and responsibilities prescribed for all employees.
Provides support for the organization in pursuing certification to international standards (gap analysis, documentation, compliance audits) on ISO 9001 / 14001, 27001, and PCI-DSS.
Works with Process Improvement Officer & Management System Officer on process improvement methodologies (e.g., PDCA, TQM) to identify, analyze and improve existing processes brought about by an audit finding.
Perform process and ISO audits to ensure compliance of the organization with ISO and international standards
Promotes customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and feedback raised by clients through an issue monitoring system and ensuring that proper corrective action is implemented to resolve these issues.
Conducts regular coordination meetings (virtual or
face to face) through conference calls with key personnel of the organization, to discuss issues and other concerns encountered in the implementation of activities and projects related to international certification.
Facilitate RCA-CA (Root Cause Analysis – Corrective Action) sessions with process owners for issue resolution.
Provides full support on various projects that need support on identifying critical control points that need to be provided with control measures to ensure risk and change management can be initiated within the risk appetite of the organization.
Job Requirements
Education
Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration.
Experience
Minimum of two (2+) years of solid work experience in a Compliance Role
With a minimum of two (2) years of working experience as a Quality Engineer/ Quality Assurance
Eligibility
Relevant Certification
Project/program management.
Auditor certification (ISO 9001, 27001 14001, OHSAS 18001) Training on various standard requirements, certification as Compliance Officer.
