    Description
    Our client in the financial services sector regulated by SASSRA wishes to recruit branch managers for the following zones:

  • Mombasa
  • Nairobi
  • Nakuru/Eldoret
  • Lake Region

    Overall Job Description

    The job holder will be responsible for business growth through implementation of effective and efficient strategies, leadership and accountability at the branch level so as to contribute to the overall organization’s profitability.

    Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sustainable and quality business growth/attraction as per set targets to attain the desired profitability for the unit
  • Responsible for upholding service standards so as to achieve customer retention which enhances profitability and business continuity
  • Responsible for communication of information to all stakeholders to ensure effective communication for overall success of the business unit
  • Responsible for the growth of the customer base and cross-selling solutions.
  • Responsible for implementation of the customer relationship model adopted at the corporate level
  • Responsible for strategy implementation at the branch so as to achieve the set business growth targets
  • Responsible for preparing and compiling timely and reliable reports for management decision making
  • Responsible for Company brand visibility within the branch area for continued growth of market share
  • Responsible for the safe custody, management and
    allocation of all resources at the branch level as stipulated in the budget so as to ensure resource optimization and security
  • Develop and implement individuals and team performance culture through effective leadership so as to optimize productivity
  • Ensure capacity building of the team at the branch level

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field
  • 3 years’ experience as a branch or; 4 years’ experience - 2 years as Branch Operations Officer and 2 years Branch Credit Administrator
  • Good negotiation skills and Selling skills
  • Relationship management and Interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software applications preferred
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
  • Professional demeanor
  • Experience monitoring marketplace to identify business opportunities
