Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.

  • As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and adhering to financial regulations.

  • Your role will involve maintaining the company's financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budgeting and tax-related activities.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate daily data posting to maintain up-to-date financial records.

  • Conduct stock control activities by comparing physical inventory with registered data.

  • Prepare and review tax-related reports and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports and budgets, adhering to scheduled deadlines.

  • Follow up on receivables and work with the sales team to ensure timely client payments.

  • Maintain the company's financial records and filing system.

  • Adhere to the company's rules and regulations regarding expenditure and financial practices.

  • Conduct bank, supplier, and client reconciliations to ensure accurate financial transactions.

  • Monitor modifications and adjustments to financial records, reporting any potential fraud or discrepancies.

  • Review assets' value and depreciation postings to maintain accurate financial statements.

    Key Attributes / Qualifications of Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as a financial accountant or in a similar role. ACA or ACCA equivalent certification is an advantage.

  • Excellent comprehension of accounting systems and proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage
    and QuickBooks.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel in addition to proficiency in Sage accounting software.

  • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures and proficiency in mathematics.

  • Prudent and solid time management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work efficiently.

  • Self-determined, confident, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
