Coca-Cola Company Security Specialist Jobs in Kenya; The Security Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining proactive security strategies to protect the company, employees, and assets. This includes identifying, implementing, and maintaining security processes, protocols, and programs to reduce risk, respond to incidents, and limit exposure. The scope of the role covers physical security and safety of employees and facilities.

Responsibilities

Coordination and Management

Oversee day-to-day security measures, including assignment of guards.

Work closely with competency heads and third-party service providers.

Loss Control

Provide commercial and pragmatic security advice to Country Management.

Set policy and standards and manage security programs.

Risk Assessment and Audits

Conduct risk assessment programs and security audits regularly.

Recommend and implement improvements where necessary.

Physical Security

Manage outer and inner layers of protection.

Conduct vulnerability assessments of facilities and personnel.

Access Control

Manage access control systems and employee identification systems.

Proactive Security Programs

Create and drive proactive security programs with stakeholders.

Develop comprehensive security risk assessments and communicate risks to senior management.

Reporting and Training

Prepare intelligence briefings, threat assessments, and investigative reports.

Establish training and security awareness programs for employees.

Investigations

Lead investigations into Code of Business Conduct breaches.

Manage internal and external investigations with law enforcement.

Establish root causes of incidents and implement long-term measures.

Budgeting

Manage security function budgets and control expenditure.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications

Bachelor’s

degree with postgraduate qualification or equivalent required.

Diploma in Security Management or certification in security operations an added advantage.

Experience

8–10 years’ experience in security operations and management.

Minimum of 4 years at senior level within FMCG environment preferred.

Competencies

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Ability to prepare documentation for corporate leadership or government agencies.

Verbal and written proficiency in English required.

Strong prioritization and expectation management skills.

Ability to gain respect and trust of senior managers.

Knowledge of commercial security field, especially FMCG.

Experience in threat analysis and risk assessment.

Experience in physical asset protection and site surveys.

Awareness of executive protection.

Experience in complex investigations (fraud, criminal, civil).

Good understanding of computer systems and information security.

Integrity, credibility, and dedication to company culture and Code of Conduct.

Well networked in the security industry.

Results-driven with strong desire to succeed.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
