Coca-Cola Company Artisan Process Electrical Jobs in Kenya;The primary role of the Artisan Process Electrical is to operate the process area according to work instructions, execute non-destructive quality checks, and carry out routine maintenance. The artisan focuses on asset care activities within the team.

Responsibilities

Operational Support

Support shift-based teams during operations.

Attend SBT and SBU meetings, ensuring previous day’s actions are completed.

Assist teams with situational problem solving.

Coach teams on machine operation, fault finding, and responses to failure modes.

Transfer knowledge on machine operation and maintenance.

Review SICs and address deviations.

Develop work instructions related to equipment.

Monitor and manage equipment performance.

Verify machines run at rated speed.

Prepare and communicate shift handover reports.

Participate in technical meetings and escalate unresolved issues.

Stand in for Production Team Leader when required.

Planned Maintenance

Carry out work during planned maintenance windows.

Assist team members during planned maintenance.

Participate in maintenance post-mortems to provide feedback.

Optimize maintenance schedules.

Coach operators on autonomous maintenance tasks.

Review line KPIs to ensure maintenance effectiveness.

Routine Maintenance

Perform cleaning, lubrication, and inspection per schedule.

Resolve problems uncovered during routine maintenance.

Communicate unresolved issues to Maintenance Planner for scheduling.

Running Repairs

Carry out running repairs on plant and equipment.

Assess problems and determine corrective actions.

Escalate repairs that cannot be completed immediately.

Problem Solving

Apply correct problem-solving methodologies.

Coach operators on situational problem solving.

Escalate unresolved issues to team leaders.

Participate in systemic problem solving.

Housekeeping and Safety

Work safely at all times and identify unsafe practices.

Adhere to CCBA policies and procedures.

Carry out housekeeping tasks and apply 5S principles.

NPD Implementation and Trials

Support NPD trials on assets.

Ensure adherence to NPD procedures.

Document all changes on assets per Engineering Change Management processes.

Training and Development

Train and coach operators on asset care and autonomous maintenance.

Sign off operators on autonomous maintenance tasks.

Develop operational and technical standards and work instructions.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics required.

Experience

Minimum of two (2) years in FMCG, bottling, or food processing plant.

PLC experience an added advantage.

Minimum of two (2) years in a similar role or machine operator role.

Knowledge

All aspects of packaging operations and process controls.
